Infant Care -

(Beatrix Potter Room)

If you're looking for a loving and welcoming place for your infant, we've created a nurturing, creative world especially for babies. We'll put your mind at ease. We know that leaving your infant is not only difficult but produces separation anxiety. At First Impressions Learning Center - directors, staff and teachers will stay in close touch with you to help make the transition as easy as possible. Our infant program is as individual as your baby. Your baby is one of a kind. We don't expect your child to fit into a rigid schedule. Instead, we'll follow your baby's individual rhythms for feeding, sleeping and playful interaction, to mirror your patterns at home. A personal "What we are Doing" schedule helps us meet your infant's unique needs. Our infant teachers work in teams, so there's always someone available to hold, feed, change or play with your baby - every minute of the day.Your baby is also ready to learn, so we have a specific plan for learning for your child, including daily activities, materials and baby milestones.

Toddler Care - Cuddle Bugs

(Mickey Mouse Room)

Although your child grows quickly, at this age, he/she still needs individualized care and attention. While First Impression's staff of child care experts gently guides your 1-year-old into a more structured child development and learning routine, they also ensure that your child’s social needs are fully met. Our low student-to-teacher ratio gives us the opportunity to bond with your toddler during everyday activities such as feedings, diaper changes and hold and cuddle times. This further reinforces your child’s familiarity and trust in our child development staff. Additionally, we incorporated art, reading, math, science and music centers in the room. Guided by our caring child development staff, your toddler learns independently while receiving the motivation he/she needs.

2 Year Old - Tender Times

(Dr. Seuss Room)

At 2-years-old, your child continues along his/her path to independence. At First Impressions, our Two-Year-Old Care room provides the many tools needed for your son/daughter to further his/her ability to navigate the world. By incorporating more learning with child development, our child care staff helps mold your son/daughter into a well-adjusted, intelligent individual.Because 2-year-olds develop at their own pace, our child development staff focuses daily on the skills in which your child expresses interest. We encourage you to speak with our Developmental Specialist or your pediatrician if you have concerns regarding your child’s development.

3 Year Old - Caterpillars

(Exlporing Room)

During preschool, your child completes his/her transition from independent learning to a more structured environment. To encourage your 3-year-old to play with friends as well as learn a variety of subjects, we arranged our room to allow your child to move easily from one activity to another. Though your 3-year-old’s individual development is still important, this is the year that he/she begins to work in groups and you begin to hear about friends, art projects, and learned songs and stories.A Structured, Fun Preschool EnvironmentThroughout our 3-year-old care room are teacher-guided learning centers which encourage your child’s natural curiosity. The subjects available to explore teach the fundamentals your 3-year-old needs to be a successful studen
